Guest Anonymous Posted April 16, 2004 Posted April 16, 2004 Hi I hope someone out there can help me. When I got my puppy he was sick and full of parasites, we are military overseas here in Germany, and got him from a local dog breeder. He was 6 months we got him and found out he had never been dewormed , treated for ear mites, which he suffered from terribly. Make a long story short my daughter and I have been suffering with our ears, feels like crawling and lots of funny looking debris coming out of it, with tiny black specks. We have been to the doctors, and when I tell them they laugh, look in my ear and say they see nothing. Aren't they suppose to get a culture of my ear? Anyway what do you all think it may be? Should I go to the Vet and have them look at my ears? Quote
kendalyn Posted April 16, 2004 Posted April 16, 2004 It is possible for a person to get ear mites. It's not common but it can happen. As far as I know there is not any treatment for it in humans. DO NOT take this as a final word though. I would call your doctor and tell him both your symptoms are persisting in case there is something you can do about it. Be insistant that there is something wrong. Good luck, that sounds like no fun! Quote
