kendalyn Posted April 14, 2004 Posted April 14, 2004 http://www.softouchconcepts.com/index.html A friend e-mailed me this link to ask if it would work. I have no idea. I've never seen anything like it really. I mean, it's kind of like a harness, but not really... I've never used any special kind of collar or harness so I really have no idea how effective it would be. I prefer a flat collar but I don't have a super puller type dog either. Everyone else's thoughts? :-) Quote
courtnek Posted April 15, 2004 Posted April 15, 2004 I have no-pull harnesses for both my dog, using a similar concept. the strapping goes across the chest and behind the legs...however, mine also attach to the collar, so they can twist or pull out of them. From what I can see, I dont understand how the harness "moves" to allow for different movements, but I guess I'd have to see one to figure it out. Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted April 15, 2004 Posted April 15, 2004 I have that harness. It does help immensely. He can still pull on it but it greatly reduces the pulling. I think it is a great product & was a lifesaver for us. He had serious aversions to the Gentle Leader but accepts this okay. The thing to remember is it is a tool---you still need to train. If your dog isn't a puller and you've no use for an anti-pull harness then I wouldn't even bother getting it as s/he may find it mildly aversive. Quote
