what kind of mix?

I adopted a two year old dog about 3 weeks ago from a shelter and I've been trying to figure out what she is mixed with. Her name is Kylie and she is an amazing companion.
She's 40 pounds, VERY affectionate, very protective of my room(now her room aswell) and myself, and very loyal. She's very friendly to dogs outside, but won't tolerate another four legged creature to enter the house without growling the entire time. She's very obedient to me, but won't listen to anyone else. She also has this huge beautiful fluffy tail that curls up with a white tip and I have yet to find any shedding hairs laying around.
The shelter told me she is a sheltie/heeler, but I don't think they have a clue either. Two vets told me she's a coyote cross with a husky...

Just lookin for some insight.

She has barked maybe two or three times since I got her...and it's when she's on a leash and HAS to meet another dog coming towards her. Besides the growling though, she doesn't mutter a sound.
She's so pretty though. She spent a year in the shelter, I'm surprised she wasn't picked up by someone sooner.
And yes...she is VERY active!!! We spent 5 hours hiking and playing in the snow last week and she was still ready to play all night!
