Guest Anonymous Posted May 15, 2004 Posted May 15, 2004 Your doggy's pic didn't turn out so I can't say for certain, but it may have come from my kennel if it was born round July 2001. I live quite close to u, just outside Fort Erie, where I breed and run sled dogs. I've been incorporating rottis into my lines for a few years now, breeding mainly for their deep chest, good paws, and the best brains i've seen in any dawg. I'm finding that my rotti half-breeds fall a bit short of the Alaskans' average speed, but they run them into the ground when the snow gets deep or the going gets tough. That includes the Iditarod dogs. If urs came from another breeder, I'd love to hear more. As far as I knew, I was the only one breeding these bloody things! The latest litter is quarter-blood rotti, same Mally, and sired by an Alaskan Husky from Mitch Seavey's team in Seward. He's run 3 Iditarods and a couple 300 milers so I figure these guys'll be pretty tough. Cute as buttons, howl like Shania, and eat like Oprah. :D Feel free to email me or whatever.
