TDG Posted April 3, 2004 Posted April 3, 2004 there is no "official" body that rates dog food, the best you'll be able to find is feedback and reviews on consumer report-type websites or reviews by magazines or websites. also, the current labeling laws make it difficult for anyone to know what's really in a food, because the manufacturers do not have to disclose a lot of information that could often make quite a difference between two otherwise similar foods. if you are interested in reading about dog food reviews, the whole dog journal is one of the best places to start at, but the articles are not free. you either need to subscribe or pay per article. they do give a 2-week free trial membership tho.
