PETA Satire by Penn & Teller: Bulls**t 4/1 & 4/8 on

On April 1, "Penn & Teller: Bulls--t" will begin its second season with a
|devastating and hilarious 30-minute expose of the animal-rights movement,
|focusing on People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). The Center
|for Consumer Freedom is featured prominently in this groundbreaking show,
|which is part of a cable television series that "debunks popular shams and
|scams."

|Get ready to see the real PETA, warts and all. It's a show you'll want to
|tape and share with your friends and neighbors who think animal-rights
|activism is a warm and fuzzy hobby. This might be the only kind of
|publicity PETA's self-styled "press sluts" would prefer to avoid, and the

|The Showtime cable network will air "Penn & Teller: Bulls--t" at 10pm (all

If they can stop PETA from releasing Beagles into the "wild" (because
they should be free'") and releasing lobsters into the ocean with their claws STILL RUBBERBANDED!!! I will back them up. These people are animals "public enemy no.1"

Courtnek, did you catch the show? It was incredible. They were quite brutal in their portayal of PETA, but I believe they did a good job of addressing the not so warm and fuzzy side of PETA. I taped it so I could watch it again, but it's coming on again on the 8th.

Arrgghhh, I don't have Showtime and I am dying to see it! :flop: And anyone who can deflate the pompous a$$e$ otherwise known as PETA is ok in my book :bigok: .

If anyone is interested in a video tape of the show, I taped it for someone on another list, but I reckon she doesn't want it after all, so if anyone wants the tape (in the US, sorry, I know nothing about shipping out of country :oops: ), the first speaker upper grabs it. I can always tape it a second time on the 8th. Be aware that it contains lots of very strong language (to put it mildly), so if you are easily offended, it may not be for you, or if you have small children, you may not want to make it a family viewing.

And, Sasha, yeah, that show rocks! That's the first time I've ever watched it, but I think I could become a fan really quickly.
