Taurus and Jada Posted March 23, 2004 Posted March 23, 2004 Jada has a spot on her tongue that is black/dark purple. Its about 3/4 way back and its about 1cm across. ANy idea what it is? This might sound silly ,but DO dogs get birthmarks? Could that be what it is? Quote

imported_Cassie Posted March 24, 2004 Posted March 24, 2004 Lots of dogs have blue spots on their tongues...and they can get larger as the dog gets older...I had a husky/shep mix years ago which had just a small spot on his tongue when young...then at 14 years his tongue was almost completely blue/black. My Newf's all have blue spots on thier tongues and so does my Rottie. Just means they got a little royal blue blood pumping in their veins :lol: :wink: Quote
