Guest Anonymous Posted March 23, 2004 Posted March 23, 2004 HOW do you do it if you have multiple dogs? I have three dogs and two kids. I had to pick the dogs up by myself (with kids) because hubby had to work. I thought I was doing okay. I took Bentley out and put him in the van. Then went back in to get Roxie and Caeser. Well, the kids decide to run and open the doors and here comes Bentley! There I am in the parking lot with three leashes wrapped around my legs and about to fall on my fanny! My kids thought it was hilarious. Thankfully someone else arrived to pick up their dog and gave me a hand. Isn't there a better way? Any ideas???? Quote
kendalyn Posted March 23, 2004 Posted March 23, 2004 Could you have each kid take a dog to the car and leave one for yourself? (I don't know how old your kids are though...) That does sound like you looked pretty funny! Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted March 23, 2004 Posted March 23, 2004 April is 8 and Christopher is only 4. Bentley is 140 pounds and Caeser is 47 pounds. Even Caeser can drag April around. I'm sure it looked hilarious. Just didn't feel that way! :D Quote
Horsefeathers! Posted March 23, 2004 Posted March 23, 2004 I'm surprised the staff at the kennel didn't offer to help. I know at our clinic which also does boarding, they will offer to help anyone walk their dogs out, especially if there are multiple dogs. Next time, don't be afraid to tell them that you would like some help. They really should have offered, anyway. Just a gripe... I swear customer service is going to h*ll. People just want your money and then they want you to just get out. Ever ask anyone at Wal*Mart to help you carry groceries out? Good luck! Quote
courtnek Posted March 23, 2004 Posted March 23, 2004 HF is right - the kennel help should have offered. Next time ask them. For what they charge to board a dog, they should vounteer to help you... Quote
