marion Posted March 7, 2004 Posted March 7, 2004 I have mum's dog Cleo for the weekend. :D I'm so happy, I've missed her so much. :( I have doggie visitation rights till tomorrow night. We're just about to take the three of them for a nice walk to the Three Sisters (a local wooded area and lake). I feel as if mum is back here with me and Cleo is sniffing round at all her things I have here, ie: her chair etc. Not very interesting for everyone else  but I'm over the moon, must not forget to take my camera. I want loads of new pics of her. :D Quote
mouseatthebusstop Posted March 7, 2004 Posted March 7, 2004 it's loverly Marion, enjoy your walk we have just been along the canal with our two. Who does Cleo live with now? Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted March 8, 2004 Posted March 8, 2004 She lives with my oldest brother and his wife Judy. Although I have noticed her nails are very overgrown today. :x So I am taking her to the vets tomorrow to get them cut. I am going to trim her feet later as well. Another thing, she can get up the stairs but not down them anymore. :( Seeing as she follows me everywhere I have to keep taking her bed up, she then jumps in it and I carry her downstairs. Quote
marion Posted March 8, 2004 Author Posted March 8, 2004 Oops, that was me, I forgot to sign in. And I forgot to take my camera with me. :( Quote
courtnek Posted March 8, 2004 Posted March 8, 2004 Is Cleo getting elderly? Poor pup. My golden got too old to come up the stairs, because of arthritis...I ended up sleeping on the couch so he wouldnt feel alone.... yes, I do things like that. My mom thought I was nuts, but he always slept in my room once I had my own place.... good job taking such good care of Cleo!! Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted March 8, 2004 Posted March 8, 2004 Yes Courtnek she is quite old now, about 14 I think. Mum got her from someone years ago who'd just had a baby and didn't want her anymore. I managed to find the nail clippers and we've also trimmed her nails. She must feel much better now. The back one was so long it was curled under, she can't have been comfortable. But she is now. Quote
ellieangel Posted March 8, 2004 Posted March 8, 2004 Aww I'm glad you have her with you for a little while,it sounds like you are finding some comfort in having her around. Quote
