Guest Anonymous Posted February 28, 2004 Posted February 28, 2004 To anyone who is considering using British Midland Airlines, under the Pet Travel Scheme. I used them to fly my dog from Madrid to Heathrow. They neglected my dog so much that she needed lifesaving treatment. When I went to collect her, they didn't know where she was, it took them over 5 hours to find her and release her to me. Not only had they lost her and neglected her they had taken her clean blankets out of her carrier and replaced them with soaking wet newspapers. BMI and are not interested as to what went wrong, they are trying to cover it over, it appears thay are more interested in making a profit. I also contacted DEFRA but they are not interested!!! PLEASE think carefully before using BMI. I do not want someone elses much loved pet to suffer. Quote

imported_Kat Posted February 29, 2004 Posted February 29, 2004 Thanks indeed for posting. I used British airways any time that I flew Meg from Belfast to Birmingham and apart from a delay with flights one time, we found them good. Quote
