I stayed out of this, and let the pittie owners speak. But you have alot to learn about dogs. Not all dogs get along with others & be carefull about letting your dogs out if the others where poisioned.

I meant you were gonna get it from the mods for swearing, personally it dosen't bother me I've heard much worse trust me. The problem is its against the RULES OF THIS BOARD, not my rules. Holz_Boomer Posted February 21, 2004 Posted February 21, 2004 i just ask that you hold your temper and/or try to explain how you feel in a much more properly way..as it is clear that nobody likes to come on this peaceful forum and see posts like those and threads turned into things like this..so please manage your anger. and i surely do hope that you didnt mean what you said..even though you seemed very angry and like you meant it..the whole thing about how we try to "down" dogs and stuff..is cleary untrue..we're all here for a reason and that is because our love for dogs is so strong..there is no way or reason that any member of this board would ever want to do that..we're all dog lovers and thats why we're here..to talk about dogs..not to "down" dogs..get it?

I have left it to the pit experts, as I am not one of them having only one pit mix so far, but my pit mix Chaos was socialized from 8 weeks old and grew up with another dog. She was fine until about a year now she can not stand any dog that dosen't respect her. She was even taken to obedience lessons but sadly can no longer be take to the dog park with my other two because I don't want to take the chance of another dog thinking their "all that" and a fight breaking out. I would feel horrible. I'm very glad your dog is fine with other dogs, I really hope he stays that way, but not all are like that.
