Guest Anonymous Posted January 21, 2004 Posted January 21, 2004 Ok, we have a 4 year old Jack Russell, she escaped over the weekend and we found her 2 days later. She was not in heat when she escaped, but she is now. We are concerned because she has elpisy, we really hope that she isn't pregnant. My question for you guys is 1) how are we going to be able to tell if she is pregnant and 2) what are we going to do if she is? Quote

She may well have some sort of infection, she could have had a blind season to start with......................................................................... your vets is the answer here, get her desexed, get her some anti biotics incase........................... calm down SEE YOUR VET Roo :lol: Quote

If you're not planning on actively breeding her, it's in yours and her best interests to get her done. It can help cut down on escapism, as well as prevent a lot of worse problems down the line.
