Mail order pet meds

I have been getting Oscar's flea and heartworm preventatives from the vet, but all the websites advertise the meds so much cheaper.

So has anyone ordered their meds from websites? Are there things I should look out for? Are any sites more reliable than others?

I always order through 1-800-petmeds. I have never had a problem with them. I did read somewhere about a mail order somewhere in China that the meds that they ship are expired. I say always check the expiration dates.

In the past I have ordered online from both 1-800 Pet Meds as well as Drs. Foster and Smith. I have had great service from both companies but made the switch to Drs. Foster and Smith when they started beating 1-800 Pet Meds' prices on Interceptor and Frontline.

I also use 1800petmeds, and have never had a problem with them. I was impressed that when your meds are about to expire, and at the beginning of heartworm season, they send you notices to remind you to get your heartworm tests done and reorder the medication. I am very pleased with them, and they are definitely cheaper than the vet.

i have ordered from entirelypets.com and petguys.com and am very pleased with both of them. prompt order confirmation, service and shipping, and i was sent tracking numbers for my packages within 48 hours every time i ordered.
