NOTE: I TRIED to make it rhyme best I could, and this is based on the New Calidonia Dog Sled Races that take place every year in about Feb. in my town. Dashing through the snow In an eight dog wooden sled Over the snow we go Barking all the way! *woof woof woof woof* Bells on Husky's ring, Making Spirit's bright Oh what fun it is to drink and watch the dog sled race! HIKE! Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells Jingle 'til out of range, Oh what fun it is to freez to watch them run away! A year or two ago, I missed the whole damn race, Just couldn't fall out of bed, When I saw the clock face. I'm sure the dogs were fast. While I slept away the morning. Had much more energy then I, But one team got lost without warning. HIKE! Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells Jingle 'til out of range, Oh what fun it is to freez to watch them run away! A month or two ago, near the begining of October, There was not a flake of snow, But I'm sure some still weren't sober! So I'm counting down the months, Only five left to go, When everyone will gather, Up atop of piles of snow. Some will surly slip and fall, And I will laugh out loud! HIKE! Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells Jingle 'til out of range, Oh what fun it is to freez to watch them run away! Now the teams will all gather, at the starting line one by one. They will howl "let me go!", As if that is what they sung! In my face they will fling snow It's cold and burns my face! But I won't really care! HIKE!
