Guest Anonymous Posted December 11, 2003 Posted December 11, 2003 DAMN IT!! ok so i just wrote this really long post, and it screwd up and erased the whole thing.. *sigh* here i go again.. Ok I forgot my camera AGAIN i really need to super glue that thing to my hand... Anyways We started a NEW puppy class tonight, they had their first class last week, where lee anne told them all about Cody and his black dog aggression, big dog aggression, his bubble aggression.. So we went in to class and Cody went after all the black dogs ( there was a black lab named Ace, a black and white Cockapoo named Phanotom, a merle Doxin named Levi, a black doxin named Tracey, the cutested damn red and white Border collie or mabye chocholate and white named Teekie, me and Cody and a GOlden ret. named Spencher ... in seating order .. man am i good or what ) ok well as i said Cody went after all the black dogs... ok so we went through this thing where everyone gets a chance to handle each others dogs... Everyone was sooo excited to get Cody and to learn Sign Language to talk to him! i was so glad! he did great with eveyone and i was so glad tghat everyone was willing to let Cody be a part of class were as the last class we were in Cody was the outcast and no one would let their dogs come near Cody.... Well the end of class came only a few little spiffs, nothing big.. Lee Anne said it was play time, but for now playtime had to be on leashes becuase of Cody ( EVERYONE kept an eye on their dog, and didn't let them just wander like inthe other classes ) and he went straight for Tracey the black doxin and wa sgoing crazy with her! kissing her and playing with her, chasing her all over the place they were doing laps together, it was really great to see i started to cry!, then cody stopped playing, went up to Ace ( the lab) smelled him and WALKED AWAY!! then went on playing with Tracey. well he was laying down palyein with her and Spencer ( the golden ) walked right up and trampled all over Cody .............. CODY DIDNT DO A THING!!!!!! (even lee anne started to cry at that point!) after Tracey had left Spencer did the same thing again and Cody just rolled over andgave him a look and the puppy backed off.. NO NEGATIVE things at all!! I am soo proud of Cody!!! YAY! i promise i will tape my camera to my forehead next time. you have GOT TO SEE the cockapoo who's a firecracker! and the beautful Border Collie!!1 ok sorry to keep going on, i'm just so proud of COdy.. OH on sunday we will be visiting a class that is all older goldens (5+ years ) it's not a class taught by lee anne though :( so we are just going to see how COdy does with the bigger dogs.. i will not let anyone else train him but lee anne, but just this once will be ok.. so i'm anxious to see how he does.. i'll let you know!
