i know that pups like to bite things alot, but my whe me and my lil pit are playing not rough or anything, he usually start biting my hands than he just kinda tries to bite everything... i usually just stop playing eighter walk away and say the "ouch" and the "NO" let him calm down a bit before i start playing again or when he starts biting i give him another toy but that usually doesnt work for too long, what else can i do to teach him that biting is a no no..

Bathe in Bitter Apple?

The only thing I have found to work is to say OUCH and say NO as you walk away and don't play for 5-10 min. If its an inappropriate item that the pup chews on say NO, take the item, replace with good chew toy and praise when pup uses it.

What I did with Web was spray him in the nose with a mist bottle when he bit. I only needed to do it once or twice before he got the idea... Now if he starts getting way to wild I show him the bottle and he "remembers" that humans are not chew toys and he would rather play nice or investigate the bottle...

Once or twice eh? :o Coal is the WORST nipper ever, got my eye couple days ago, got a black eye :o and he almost broke a couple of my fingers once :o Other then that, it's usually not even enough to break the skin (black eye there was no broken skin, he just bruised me, and it wasn't even that black), I remember being told to use a spray bottle for SOMETHING on SOMEONE but for the life of me can't remember  Coulda been to keep Hazel, or even Coal outa the kitchen, and i think that was it, but The Kitchen door is always kept closed when no one's in it, and Coal can come in if we let him... But I will deffently search for a spray bottle around here, and put my fingers together it works, because he is SO Bad at it, I've tried next to EVERYTHING to get him to stop being so mouthy :-? And my dad doesn't help, he's so rough with him
Eh hem, sorry I stoll your thunder here Boscoe   How's your pup doing with the nipping now?
