We stopped at a pet supply store tonight, and this guy was carrying the cutest pit puppy around, getting him a new collar and leash with his girlfriend/wife. I was passing by, and I normally try not to pet other peoples' dogs at the store, but this pup was looking at me with the sweetest expression, and ohh, the ears :) So I made sure it was okay with him, and then I reached out to the puppy, and he started licking my hand :lol: The guy had just found him at the Humane Society (he sounded really surprised to find such an awesome dog there) the day before, and he wasn't even named yet. They were so excited, picking out stuff for their puppy :) I love pit puppies so much. Really the cutest dogs ever, I think. I'm just so scared to own one :( (oh wait, I can see hackles raising) Not because of the dog, but people freak me out. Too often we hear about people doing nasty things to anything that looks pit-like, just out of ignorance and fear. And I couldn't deal with it if something happened to my pup. Ah, well. Puppy got a new home. Wanted to tell everyone :) Quote

I hope he knew all about the breed and stuff too, I think it wouldn't be too smart to just go get one, although great that he adopted the little fella! :D Yeah, I know what you mean Mutts. That's one of the reasons I don't think I could own one too... the other is in ANY case that it could POSSIBLY become dog aggressive, I want to deffently own more then one dog, and I dont' think I can deal with the aggressive dog thing again. Besides, I'm a true Border Collie fan through and through, although my love for the Pittie has grown tones since I've found Dogo, and everyone hear has taught me all the good about them! :D :angel: Quote

You never know what you might run into. The trip to the petstore wasn't even planned, but I'm glad we went :) I wish I knew what they ended up naming the puppy, he was sooo sweet and cute. Beautiful medium brown with a white chest :) Quote
