bk_blue Posted November 19, 2003 Posted November 19, 2003 Lizie met BK on Sunday night. Ahhh love at first sight (though that probably makes BK a sugar daddy LOL)! At first she was a little scared of him, big boisterous boofhead that he is, but she perked up and began to play. He knew that she was much smaller and lighter than he was, and injured (the burn mark and her spay stitches are still in), and he was quite gentle. He even let her chew on his bone (isn't he nice), though when he tried to get it from her she growled at him. So he got another piece of bone and chewed it in front of her so she'd go over to that one, and he got his other bone back from her that way. Sneaky little devil. They played for about an hour or so and BK got tired and wouldn't play with her anymore, so she tried to get him to play with her by barking at him, nipping his heels, nipping his neck etc. Dad has some photos and I'm waiting for him to send them to me, as soon as he does I'll post them. She followed him all around the backyard and when they were drinking out of the water bowl they looked like father and daughter, same little tails, same markings... both as smart as hell which is good or bad depending what way you look at it! Looking forward to them hanging out lots in the summer. :D Meeting Lily (the cat) was another story. I honestly thought Lily would take one look at Lizie and run away but no... Lizie was scared of Lily!! Lily puffed herself up and hissed at Lizie, and poor Lizie stayed as far away from her as she could. Lily followed Lizie around the house and would just perch not too far away from where Lizie was and would just STARE at her. At the dinner table Lizie sat at my feet and Lily was on one of the chairs, and would get off the chair perodically and check to see if Lizie was still there and scared of her, then get back on her perch. When Lizie went home, Lily followed her out of the house, down the garden and to the car just to make sure she was going. :D Quote
StarFox Posted November 19, 2003 Posted November 19, 2003 Sounds like they have a budding relationship. Isn't it just the best thing in the world to see two dogs happily getting along and playing? Quote
