Phez718 Posted June 24, 2004 Posted June 24, 2004 lilwiljill: You say you can't see that the pups in the pics are ill? Here is an example of a mother Chihuahua from a puppymill. Read her story and then click on the picture and you'll see that she is FAR from healthy. http://www.critterhaven.org/rosie.htm <<Very Sad Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted July 5, 2004 Posted July 5, 2004 I just wanted to say 'thank-you' to you all for being so vocal about these people and what they're doing. I've been looking in to getting a Sheltie and lly stumbled on their site. I was extremely uneasy at what I found and it's nice to get some confirmation. Anyone who takes the time to do research knows there's no such thing as 'mini' shelties, scotties, cavaliers, or any other breed unless otherwise stated by the AKC or other international kennel clubs (even AKC registration is not a sure sign of a healthy puppy). There's NO SUCH THING as a tea cup dog, and the fact that these people were claiming otherwise made me ill. That alone is evidence of either their ignorance or willful deception, both of which are key signs that these people aren't qualified to be breeding dogs. Another would be the 'new' breeds they try to invent, like 'cockapoos' (as sweet as they are). Thank-you soooo much for sending the word out. :D It's nice, as a prospective dog owner, to know that there are so many people out there trying to warn us about groups like Wizard of Claws. Quote
mouseatthebusstop Posted July 5, 2004 Posted July 5, 2004 she did not come from a pet shop but 2 months after this photo was taken she died from a genatic disorder--- she does not look ill at all Quote
courtnek Posted July 5, 2004 Posted July 5, 2004 I cant look at the eyes on those puppies....They are NOT supposed to be pointed out like that. it just looks "wrong".... Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted July 5, 2004 Posted July 5, 2004 I was looking into getting another dachshund to join my two year old dachsie when I happened upon this site. Something just did not look right to me so I called ,and all the woman on the line was interested in was my down payment! Then I read about the lawsuit, :( any updated information on this??[/b] Quote

Guest Anonymous Posted July 6, 2004 Posted July 6, 2004 Sorry about that last remark of mine..i was trying to say that they will not give me my money back Quote
courtnek Posted July 7, 2004 Posted July 7, 2004 they wont give people their money back for dogs with genetic issues either. that's why they're being sued. I am very glad you got a good pup and love it. and I'm very glad you now realize what shysters they are. they really need to be shut down, ASAP. I hope your puppy NEVER develops any of the bad symptoms/illnesses they're being sued for. Quote
