Dumb question about bowls

I read somewhere, i don't remember where though. That feeding your dog out of plastic bowls is bad? Is this true? Why?

I have heard that snow nose (where the pigment in the nose turns pink) can be caused by using plastic bowls. I'm not really sure how or why though :niewiem:

I use stainless steel bowls.

I've never heard that before.

I use stainless steel bowls. I don't trust plastic bowls because the bacteria might not completely wash off and breed really quickly. Steel bowls are WAY easier to clean any chicken off of lol.

I use stainless steel too,and they have a big ceramic water bowl,massive. :)

For most of the year, I feed my girls out of stainless steel bowls. But they like eating their food outside, and I don't want their poor little tongues sticking to their stainless steel bowls outside! So when it's below freezing, I use plastic bowls. I was afraid that the ceramic bowls would crack in the cold temperatures.
