mommacat Posted October 19, 2003 Posted October 19, 2003 I need some help for a friend. One of my friends hunts his lab, and his face got pretty cut up from the long grass. Does anyone know of anything he can put on the dog's nose and eyes to protect them while he is hunting? He was thinking of some sort of salve, but it has to be odor free, or it will interfere with the dog smelling the pheasants. Thanks in advance for any help youcan give me. Quote
Peng1zrule Posted October 20, 2003 Posted October 20, 2003 all i can think of is dog goggles (doggles) they were only 20-25 dollars, now I see them for thirty dollars all the time.... Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted October 20, 2003 Posted October 20, 2003 That's a good idea. I found a site that has them for $25 in a bunch of different colors. http://store.yahoo.net/petendipity/je1501.html Hope this helps. Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted October 21, 2003 Posted October 21, 2003 I know!! They've got really cute stuff. I'm hooked since I discovered them! Did you see those beds?!?! I'm hinting to my husband to get me one for Christmas. :banan: Quote
mommacat Posted October 21, 2003 Author Posted October 21, 2003 Thanks ! I will show them to him, but I think he was thinking more of a cream that would both protect and help the skin heal. I suggested Watkins salve, but it needs to be unscented. Quote
Malamum Posted October 22, 2003 Posted October 22, 2003 The goggles are so cute. I can't imagine Indy keeping them on though :-? Quote
