Guest Anonymous Posted October 15, 2003 Posted October 15, 2003 Hi, My dog has a ear yeast infection. This is not the first. Does anyone know a way to naturally prevent this? I'd like to know of any websites that offer natural remedies, not just for this ear thing, but other ailments as well. I ran across a site like this once, but didn't add it to favorites darn it! I'd like to find out what I can do to prevent these ear infections. Thanks. Quote
zac850 Posted October 16, 2003 Posted October 16, 2003 um, i don't know of homeopathic drugs, but i know Panalog mixed with some baby oil works very well... Ask your vet. My vet takes commericial Panalog and mixes it 50-50 with baby oil, so it is good for an infection as well as cleaning out the excess ear wax... Quote
pei obssessed Posted October 16, 2003 Posted October 16, 2003 try this website: http://www.itsfortheanimals.com/BLUE.HTM I think that's what K was talking about--I've never used the blue powder myself, but I've heard it works wonders. Quote
TDG Posted October 17, 2003 Posted October 17, 2003 switching to a better diet will help fight the whole issue and not just the symptoms. here's a page that might give you some pointers. it's specifically writen for great danes, but the principles apply to any kind or size of dog. unless you attack the problem at the root, symptoms are just going to keep popping up and possibly will get worse over time.
