Guest Anonymous Posted October 12, 2003 Posted October 12, 2003 there was a lot of stuff going on and he did great!! he was a little distracted but he actually wanted to play with these puppies today! he passed all the tests of walking through the store walking over treats and toys, with the command leave it! he did better then everyone! lol half the time he didnt' even pay attention to them!! and iw as using a Halti on him, and the trainer saw how he sometimes gets wild, so she put a gentle leader on him. and it works MUCH better then the halti! the halti closed him mouth and really pissed him off more, and with this one he's GEM on it! i could not belive it! the trainer wants me to go to all her classes with cody ( for free!!!! ) she thinks its great sociliazation for Cody and that it will be great for her students to see that if a deaf dog can do it with just signs, that they WILL be able to pass with signs and voices ( i guess there are some in the classes that doubt they will pass ) i was so happy and embarassed at the same time! he did so great and the only thing was he decided at the end of playtime he had to go poo.. lol other then that it was great. they let allt he dogs off leash to romp around and play and cody was having a blast. we ended up with a big crowd during class, everyone int eh store stopped by to see "the deaf dog in puppy class" they were all amazwed and of course they all watched while we did a contest to see who could get their dog to sit the fastest..... and cody decided to look at the other dogs and ignore me.. lol it was great!! i forgot to take pictures ( well i had it with me but we were sooo busy the whole time i dind't have time to take pictures ) i can't wait for next weekend!
