Rowie-the-Pooh Posted October 9, 2003 Posted October 9, 2003 http://www.rebelcreek.com I was goofing around on Google when I came upon this. Golden Retriever breeders that ship worldwide! Which means.... they can ship here! Oh happy day! :D Of course, just because they ship worldwide doesn't mean I didn't check, and double check the website. They have all health clearances, worming, vaccinations, health checkes...etc. They seem to be very resposible breeders, who are doing it for the breed. But of course, I couldn't send an e-mail or do anything in fact, without getting the Dogo Seal of Approval. So guys, what do you think? (Yes, I know I am getting annoying with all these Golden Retriever Breeders questions...) Quote
courtnek Posted October 10, 2003 Posted October 10, 2003 she seems like a good breeder - I was reading the reference letters. But of course, check all the medical facts, hip dysplacia, certified for known golden ailments....but up front, she seems really good. I would check with her references and the AKC...any problems would have been reported to them. Good Luck Rowie!!! :D Quote
Lucky Chaos Posted October 10, 2003 Posted October 10, 2003 All though they do have a lot (23) dogs they all look well taken care of. They seem like good breeders to me. :D And don't worry Rowie no way your getting annoying with all the questions thats what were here for! Quote
Black GSD Posted October 10, 2003 Posted October 10, 2003 This statement alone would cause me not to buy a puppy from this kennel: ""The buyer agrees to feed Iams Puppy Food and at the appropriate age (as advised by your vet) to switch the puppy to a food recommended by the breeder or, in special circumstances by your veterinarian. " NO ONE(especially a vet.) will tell me that I HAVE to feed my dog a certain food. (Espesially if it is Iams.) And the REAL stickler, If you DON"T feed what they tell you to. The guarantee is NULL AND VOID! Here is another think "I" don't like. "Puppies sold on an Agreement of Sale of Pet Puppies shall be spayed/neutered by the Purchasers before the dog attains nine (9) months of age." (This info is located on their "Agreement of sale" page.) If I was you, I would tell them that Iams isn't available where you live and see what they say. (Just for curiousity sake.) Quote

I didn't read that part! I guess I was so excited! I read that they fed Iams, I knew it was bad. But I let it pass, I was thinking of telling them all the bad things I heard about IAMS and that they should switch to Canidae. I never knew I HAD to feed it! Thanks Black GSD for pointing it out! It doesn't really matter anyways, I found a good breeder right here in BH! :D Thanks everyone for the replies! Quote
Peng1zrule Posted October 10, 2003 Posted October 10, 2003 ummm....this is so bad...I have been looking for a coton breeder for awhile...and that's what I ended up looking at, instead--so I guess I should be saying, "thanks, rowie!" Quote
Black GSD Posted October 10, 2003 Posted October 10, 2003 Rowie, Glad that you found a breeder. I really hate to post things like my other post sometimes since I feel like I am "raining on your parade". BUT, I post anyway. The last thing I want is for someone to fall in love with a pup, then find out what the "small print" says. Quote
