Cody did GREAT with training today! i love the trainer!

Today was cody's play date at petsmart. and i got there ( i LOVE the trainer ) she gave me a free lesson that was 1 1/2 hours long, along with the Boxer that we went there to play with..
He knew almost everything we learned but he masterd the command Leave it.. we had to get creative to come pu for a sign with it. but he did great! and he now lay's down.. i'm so proud of him!
But he didnt' like the boxer ( izea i think.. it's pronouces eye-zey-ah )
the boxer jumped onhim and cody got defensive and was not happy. but the trainer said not to wrory about it becuase it was the first time they met.. so she invited me back for a puppy class on Saturday for socialization. she has 2 black labs, a huskey/shepherd, a poodle and a akita. i can't wait! and she said it's FREE of charge since i'm going just for socialization and Cody knows everything she will go over..
they also had a puppy there ( it was the trainers, bosses dog ) an 10 week old Akita. he was so cute. get this. they named him d-o-g ( pronounced deeogee) i died when i herd that! anyways i forgot the camera. i know bad mom. but iw ill tkae it on saturdeay
the boxer was so beautiful! 8 months old he was tan with very little white. so cute!!! anyways! i'm so proud of COdy! the trainer was so impressed! i just HAd to share with you guys!!
i'll let you know how it goes on Saturday!!

(oh, and I know what name your talkin about... I think it's spelled Isa, someone in my elm school was named that, but I don't really remember if that's how you spell it)

Sounds like you had a great time. I also love the trainer at Petsmart, she is wonderful! And everytime we are there with Zebra she uses him as an example to show all the other people how to train there dogs. :P

I once saw a film called "Keeping Isaah" or something like that. I think it's spelled "Isaah" or something remotely similar. :oops:

Sounds like you had a blast! That's really nice the trainer isn't charging you, the PetSmart we went to wanted money for the same thing...FULL price.

D-O-G...I know three dogs named that. Plus the people up the street have a cat named.....DINNER!

When my dad was young he had a beagle named Dinner, and so when they'd call him they'd be standing out there screaming DINNER, his neighbors musta thought he was nuts when he'd call the dog in in the morning! :lol:

thanks everyone! however you spell it, at least you knew the name i was talking about.. And Zoey WILL MOST DEFINATLY go to this lady for training once Hubby gets back of course full price for her ( $99.00 ) but nothing for cody since it's judt socialization. it was so much fun although it did take us a while to come up with a sign for leave it! but he did great! i wish tomorrow was satruday.. err wait no i dont becuse my weekend would almost be over. iw ill bring the camera though! i promise!! yay! i'm just so excited!

lol DINNER?? holylcow! and i though i got weird looks when i used zoey's middle name.. ZOEY LYNN!!!!!!!!!! and theni always get looks when i yell CODY EDAL ( you know since i was just signing to him a min ago, and then here i am yelling at him to get his attention.. lol )
