GoldenLuv Posted October 7, 2003 Posted October 7, 2003 This is another awful story about a pitbull *sigh* Some one broke into this persons house and beat a litter of pitbull pups (couple weeks old) to death and killed the mother. The father of the pups was shot in the face but managed to survive. He is now undergoing expensive surgery tomorrow but is still living. They showed him on the news and he kept trying to curl up in every ones laps and was a big sweetie! The owners can not afford the surgery but a dog club is raising money and the vet clinic is pitching in. Well please post it if you get an answer. Well I am not sure what he will be charged with but in my opinion he should be charged with murder!! I was lost for words to. This is horrible. Aonir Posted October 7, 2003 Posted October 7, 2003 I'm.. speechless. I am 17 years old and I think I would take responsiblity for MY actions. I hope he gets punished for the brutal killing and his mother doesn't have to pay. Put him to serious labor to pay off those bills. He should even dig the hole to bury the mother and her pups. I think they should even put him in jail for a while, just to teach him a lesson. He's old enough to know what's right from wrong, and killing anything besides for food is WRONG. Quote

Hating the breed is NOT good enough. I'm terrified of the Afgan Hound because one attacked me unprovocked but I wouldn't go off and kill a litter of pups like that. Quote

I dont know what else they can charge him with for the killing of thye dogs, but if they were purebred there is money involved in a lawsuit against this kid....and yes, he should be jailed, and checked out by a shrink. Most of the serial killers you hear about today abused animals when they were younger......there is now a study going on that links the two acts of aggression together. Whatever his so-called reasoning, he desrves jail time, for the sheer viciousness of the act. :evil: :evil: :evil: Quote

I emailed the vet (they probably will not give out this stuff though) about how the surgery went. I hope they will write something!! I only suggest it in case there is a way for the owners to sue the KID (not his parents) and force him into some serious jail time for what he did. They can use the monetary value of the dogs to up the stakes during a trial.... NO money can replace those puppies and their mother. Or Pork Chop... But it might put a serious kabosh on the kid, hopefully... Quote

I am curious to know WHY he felt he had to do this...he could just be a sick kid emotionally...or he could be a kid who abuses animals, and may end up on America's Most Wanted... AFTER he's killed a few people.... too many psychology classes, I guess..... Quote
