rufus Posted September 19, 2003 Posted September 19, 2003 When I first took Rufus to be chipped and jabbed, we saw a locum vet as the surgery was short-staffed. I asked how old he had to be before he could have the 'snip' and was told - one year. :( I popped in to the vets yesterday as I wanted to weigh him and asked again and was told they like the dogs to be at least 6 months old. YEY - Rufus is :D I've made his appointment for the 20th October (to make sure I can afford it). On the morning of the operation, he will see the vet first - to check he has all his bits (which he has) and that will be that. woohoo  Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted September 19, 2003 Posted September 19, 2003 I don't think I've ever seen anyone so happy to get their dog "Snipped" Congrats? I remember when Coal had to go in, I was all sad and worried  But yay! That means one less (or even more :o ) litter of puppies in the world! :D :D Quote
imported_Cassie Posted September 20, 2003 Posted September 20, 2003 Wow, one Vet told you it could only be done at 1 year!!!! thats terrible!! I am so glad you are able to get Rufus in at 6 months to be "snipped" Quote
