Thanks K and everyone who helped.... i got my password back! yay!!! ok. on another note. my dogs are HORRIBLE! :evil: they eat the mail that comes through our mail slot if we are not home. last night they ate one of our bills and we were sitting on the floor trying to peice it back togehter.. GRRRR any ideas? they are getting really bad ( well zoey is) about eating stuff.. i'm ready to pull my hair out and call it quits with Zoey. i cna't take all the chewing anymore!! :x Quote

On the subject of the bill - If you can determine the company call them and ask how much it was for and ask them to resend. If can't determine the company call all you billers and ask what the balance is and when the due date is and pay them as usual. Have you thought of internet banking it helps in situations like this as you can review prev activities and see when you paid certain bills prev. On the subject of the chewing - Get a crate for when you're not home. Watch her like a hawk when you are home - even putting her on a lead and keeping her with you if you must. Crate herwhen you way to busy to watch or can't have her on lead. Correct when she does the behaviour when she's in your site, when she's not in your site she won't be able to do it, eventually as she will not be able to do the behaviour she will be broken of the habit. Take a basket or plastic box with lid, cut a hole big enough for the mail to fit through and then screw it to the door so that the mail will fall in and then when you get home you can open the lid and get your mail in one peice. I have read that dogs do this because they do not like things entering there house. Although Zoie is probably doing this to annoy mom... :lol: Could you put a mailbox outside your house and block of the slot? That would be the simplest soulution...that way you do not have to explain the box screwed on the back of the door to all your guests... :P Ohh I reccomend you stop pulling your hair out... we do not want a bald Naomi :o :o :wink: !! I think they are just blowing off steam at the fact that a stranger came that close to their territory, and they couldnt drive him off so they attack what he leaves.... Put a small platic box outside the door with a brick or a heavy weight in the bottom (so it wont blow away) and ask the mailman to drop the mail in there. I ended up using a small plastic garbage can with one of the foot levers that opens the lid. Made it easy on the mailman, he just stepped on the lever and dropped the mail in. I also had a plastic garbage bag in there, and when I got home I would just pull the bag out with the mail in and bring it in, then put the bag back later. As far as training, I think the crate is a good idea. And a leash attached to your belt when your home, to keep her under supervision till she tones down some. Quote

I can't put a mail box out side becuase i live in Government Quaters ( military housing on base ) BUT i will ask my mail man tomorrow if he can leave it in a little basket outside my door. As for the Crating, good idea, but i've always been afraid to use that because what good is Zoey ( a guard dog ) if she's in a kennel? Do yuou think after she is broken of this and doesn't have to be in her crate that she will go back to being protective? We do lock them up in the kitchen/dinningroom area its big so they can paly and horse around. since they ate the chairs though.. now they are going for my wooden table :evil: :drinking: Quote
