I am getting a puppie in 3 weeks..it's 50% pomeranian, 25% terrier, 25% chihuahua. I was wondering what is the approx cost for vaccinations and neutering? and licensing. I live in Southern California.

seeing as you live in southern california, I bet the prices are exponentially higher than north carolina...I pay sixty for a full set of adult shots. ten for the rabies shot. And nuetering is between sixty and eighty, depends on the dogs weight. I am not sure what you mean by license-I quoted the rabies price only because that's what goes for a license in my area...I don't think you need a kennel license since you are planning to nueter him (good for you!)

Hi! Nice to see someone else from California here! Are you adopting? If you are you can get discouts from certain humane societys for neutering. I know that at my vet a Small dog neuter cost about 110 dollars. But this can change depending on what vet you go to. As for licensing...I think it depends on what city you are in. You can get a 1 year license, a 5 year or a life time license. I'm not sure how much that would cost. You might want to call your local city to find out. I think the rabies shot was 20...and all the others were about 70 all together.

Where the heck are you going in NC??

I pay about $100 for all vaccs, $250 to spay/neuter, and I think rabies is like $27. I do have to admit I go to the holistic vet, so I understand it will be more expensive but I have never heard of prices that low around here.

Oh do you not have a county license?? A countly license here is $7 if they are altered and $25 if they are intact. The rabies license comes with the shot.

I payed $60 for spaying/nuetering in my last city.. and $80 for all shots..

I live in Michigan, and spaying is about $100 for female dogs, maybe $70 for males.

I paid about $35 for Macy's last vaccines, but that didn't include rabies. (With small dogs, most breeders recomment you get rabies done at a different time than the other boosters.)
