Guest Anonymous Posted August 27, 2003 Posted August 27, 2003 Yesterday, little Spike died. He was 6 weeks old. The cutest maltese with hazel eyes and a pink nose. I am absolutely devastated...Does anyone have a suggestion to cheer me up. P.S Dont tell me to get another dog : I have 4 other dogs --> Spike's 2 brothers, a sister and his mom. As time goes by, you will realize of how special your times were together and how Spike is in such a happy place now. Sanvean Posted August 27, 2003 Posted August 27, 2003 I forgot to add this, but maybe it will make you feel better. Macy's breeder said that it is very common to lose pups...Maltese babies are just SO small. They're like little kittens -- they're so little that they have almost no reserves. Quote

Just know that where he is now, he is in no pain, has no grief, and is waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge..... I feel for you. I lost Alex and miss him terribly as well.
