:(

As most of ya'll know I went back to school Monday, and that means Abs and Cracker have to stay home alone durin' the day. :( I think that I'M the one with seperation anxiety, not her. After bein' with Ab almost 24/7 all summer it's odd when I have to leave her in the mornin'. :x :( Anyways, my question is, what are some things I can leave her to do while I'm gone? She has a Kong toy, what are some things I can stuff it with? I usually stuff it with peanut butter and some cookies, but there's gotta be somethin' else that I could put in it... :-? She also has a Talk to Me treat ball, but it's plastic and I probably shouldn't leave it with her while she's alone. :-?
Another thing I wanted to say, I know I chat with alot of u on the MSN messenger, and often times I can't stay long. Please don't take it as an offensive thing when I'm only in there for a couple minutes, then have to go. I really enjoy chatting, but my schedule is so busy now, I hardly have time to relax any more. :-?

Cottage cheese works, but it's kinda messy.. dogs love it tho.

Maybe a chew bone of some sort? Do they like bones? You can get
the real bones (with marrow and stuff) from a butcher and it keeps them going for hours....

gotta be BIG bones tho, so they cant break off major pieces and swallow them.

they'll be ok. My girl is home 10 hours a day and does fine. Usually they just sleep until their people come back

:D

They will be fine - I think you are right though, sometimes us hoomans get separation anxiety worse than our furry friends.

Indy is home on his own while we are at work for about 11.5 hours each weekday. I hate leaving him for this long but there is nothing we can do about it. We just leave him with his kong, big marrow bones and lots of toys. However I'm sure he just sleeps most of the day. When we get home he gets lots of attention and on the weekend we make sure we take him with us if we go out.
