Aroura Posted August 24, 2003 Posted August 24, 2003 HazelNutMeg napisał(a):OH I love you Aroura!!  Ummm, thanks  8) Glad to help :D That's absolutely correct. However, I did not intend for anyone to think I am advocating hurting the dog. Just enough pressure to make them take notice is usually all you need. You dont want to put so much pressure on it hurts, or they yelp. I may have stated it wrong originally. Think of it more like a pinch - just enough to feel a lttle discomfort, but not to really hurt. Sorry Courtneck, I think we're both mis understanding each other a little!!! I think I may have done some miswording when I said "when something hurts Tessa...", I didn't mean that what you said should hurt, I understand what you meant  What I should have said is something along the lines of "if Tessa finds something unpleasant" or thinks that she is in trouble, thats what she does. Even at raised voices, she will go silly and start jumping etc, I think some dogs just don't know how to react to such things. Hope I've cleared that up!!! Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted August 24, 2003 Posted August 24, 2003 I haven't seen Coal all day, been at the nationals (and yes I do have pics for you guys, you just have to be patient  ) but while there I brought what Aroura wrote, and showed my mom and my sis, and they agreed to do that (Dad's not home at the mo') and so there won't be any confusion... I hope it works! Wish me luck! I'll let ya guys know if it works!! (The Settle thing) :D Quote
