alicat613 Posted August 19, 2003 Posted August 19, 2003 Oh gosh, I'm so sorry for this dog. I hope its not too late. I cross posted this in hopes of finding something, just hope the dog can hold on. Any news? Did they contact the local and national breed clubs? Maybe it is something common to the breed? Quote
alicat613 Posted August 19, 2003 Posted August 19, 2003 So far what I've found for these symptoms are cancer or foreign objects (such as glass?) Quote
Rowie-the-Pooh Posted August 19, 2003 Posted August 19, 2003 Oh my! The poor dog! And poor owner! Ellie, would you or your friend happen to have the "Ultimate Dog Care, A Complete Veterniary Guide" book? It seems like a weird question, but I got if off the internet and it is great for situations like this. I found someting! Heaemophila?? Wait, it's also the Von Willbrand's disease that came out negative. Okay, I looked up inherited diseases in the Airedale. So far I have: nothing. :-? I will look up bleeding, and get back to you. I'll try looking for another one... WONDERFUL website: http://www.uexplore.com/health/dogHealth.htm http://www.caninehealthonline.org/ That is all I can find right now.
