bk_blue Posted August 18, 2003 Posted August 18, 2003 My first Pit sighting was on Saturday afternoon as we were driving back from my sister's house. I only saw it from the car, but I am fairly sure it was a Pit from all the pics you guys have put up. It looked a bit like Gizmo (for everyone who remembers Gizmo)- a red-nose ABPT. mouseatthebusstop Posted August 18, 2003 Posted August 18, 2003 They are banned here now but about 13 /14 years ago we were out on a family outing one of my sons was at "that age" he was in a bad mood and wanted to spoil the day for every one else he laid down in the glass while we sat on a bench for a break a loose dog came running around and jumped on him wagging its tail rolled him over and licked his face the owners arrived then and said they were sorry my said he did not mind he had enjoyed their dog playing with him. The owner then said do you know what breed he is? we said no they replied he is a pit bull. This was at the time the powers that be were trying to ban them After the dog playing with him my sons mood changed we had a good day out Quote
