Ok so I have to go and stay at my Mom's for a bit to take of her dog as she is in the hospital - not too seriouse, my brother will be watching my dogs, he can't go to her place as he can't drive and he makes a mess. Will post when I can.

Sorry your mom is in the hospital, but glad to hear it is not too serious! You will be missed......

So your brother is watching your dogs? Are you going to check up on him from time to time?

Came home to check on the boys and my brother and post some. Mom is doing OK but is still in hospital - unstable angina. It sounds bad but it actually may be a boon she has been fighting to have something definitive done about her heart/arteries etc but they wouldn't do anything really - now they are talking about some real steps that will help more long term. Difficult getting into see her what with work and watching her dogs and visiting mine and the SARS Gestapo at the hospital  . Anyway thanks for all your best wishes. Oh my brother and the dogs seem to be getting on OK - Eric even cleaned the yard :D which I thought I would have to come back everyday to do. The boys were glad to see me but not desperate.

I'm home :D
Mum discharged early
Darn it I thought they were really going to address the issue but the doc who does her endoscopy (sp?) stuff discharged here even though the CARDIOLOGIST wanted her to stay!
Still she is much happier at home and is fairly comfortable. Both of our dogs are much happier too.

Thanks all! Yes they are following up, she has 3 new doctors  , I suppose it will be ok but I would have felt better if they found out why she had (mild) coronary failure before they sent her home - they say her heart is perfectly fine . . . so why is she having chest pain?
