Guest Anonymous Posted July 22, 2003 Posted July 22, 2003 :( Our Miniature Pincher died on July 20, 2003. She was outside for about 20 minutes, in the sun, which we do not think she had a heat stroke, but, i went outside to get her and she was laying there dead on her leash! My husband went out side to see for himself, and he said she was already "hard"! I have been told that she could have had a heartattack, because there wasn't even enough time for her to have gotten hard, that her muscles got hard, and then "rigamortis"sets in... but, i am going nuts trying to find out why and how she died. My sister in law had just left my house, and about 10 minutes or so later, i went outside to get "sable" and she was dead! I almost want to say my sister in law or her daughter might have kicked her!!!! I have no clue how to find out! COULD SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!! THANK YOU~~ Quote
Horsefeathers! Posted July 22, 2003 Posted July 22, 2003 I would suggest a necropsy. That would give you the most definitive answer possible. Quote
mommacat Posted July 22, 2003 Posted July 22, 2003 How awful for you!!!! There is nothing worse than not knowing. My daughter's friend (who is 10) just had the same thing happen to her little rat terrier/poodle cross. I know she is still heartbroken Quote
Daisysmom Posted July 22, 2003 Posted July 22, 2003 Oh, how horrible. I am very sorry for your loss :( :( Quote
rufus Posted July 22, 2003 Posted July 22, 2003 I am so sorry for you. I agree with HF - you need to find out why so that you can set your mind at ease. Quote
imported_Cassie Posted July 22, 2003 Posted July 22, 2003 Oh my! :o I am so sorry to hear about your loss I agree with the others...an autopsy will put your mind at ease as to the reason for the death (not ease the pain of the death)...at least you will know the reason. Quote
Angelboddy Posted July 22, 2003 Posted July 22, 2003 I am so sorry for your loss. :( May I ask how old this pup was? Quote
