nadooshkinz Posted July 5, 2003 Posted July 5, 2003 Hey everyone, remember the dog from the shelter I told you guys about, Dizzy? Well I took my mom to see her yesterday, My mom liked her and all but she said since the wheather is like a FURNACE here, it would be cruel to make her suffer in the heat with all her fur! And also, an even BIGGER problem is that she has Ticks like a gorrilla has hair! My mom said that I could get a dog when the wheather cools down a bit like in October...Oh well it's better than nothing. And at least I'll get to visit Dizzy! saying that im not dissapointed would be a lie, because I am..but theres nothing I can do about it! Quote

Don't mean to be rude or anything, but when you DO get a dog in October, what will you do with it in the summer? I mean, I know it's summer now, but it will be next year, too! Like, what if you get a dog with hair, and then next year it's summer, too? It doesn't make sense to me? :-? I mean, if Dizzy was still in the BSPCA in October, and you got her, and summer roles along, what will you do then? I mean, it's the same...right? :wink: Just IMO! :wink: Quote

Maybe your mom meant something else Nadoosh? Well, you should be thankful you will get the dog! :wink: The ticks might be a problem, but Rowie has the cure to that!! Her dog has ticks too, and they're going, I'm just saying that even NEXT year and the year after THAT it's going to be summer again!! And you remember the BSPCA!! It was even HOTTER than in your home!! I'm not trying to make you change your mind or anything.. It's just that... Year after year it will become summer over and over again!! Oh and by the way.. Did you reserve her??? Because maybe by October someone already adopted her!! You should reserve her if you're thinking of taking her in October!!
