Well I just wanted to give a little update on Zebra. :P

We are starting him in a new training class in 2 weeks, it's called "advanced/clicker"...and as you can guess it involves advanced training and clicker! :) I think this class will be good for Zebra since he has been realy acting up lately. Last night he snapped at my face when I moved his leg, he was on the couch (I know, i know..he's not suppose to be on the couch it was a VERY stupid mistake! I should have known better, shame on me. :( ). Then today he was chewing a peice of string that he found and when i tried to take it away from him he groweled at me. Thoes are just two of the many bad things that he has done in the last week or so. Not to mention that he has been trying to play bite with my dad allot and gets very upset when my dad won't let him bite him. So I hope this class will do him good, I LOVE the trainer she is soo good and NEVER takes any of Zebra's attitude.

This weekend we are taking Zebra to the Vet (it seems like we have to go every other week because of something he did). But this time I'm very worried because last night I found a lump on his left side, next to his ribs. It's about an inch wide and two inches long, it kinda moves around under the skin when you push on it. It seems like some sort of soft tissue under the skin and it's worrying me very much. AND he hasn't been pooping properly lately..just kinda hard little balls (kinda gross, sorry). So i'm worried that he might have a blockage in his intestins or something. :(

I've just been so upset about Zebra's behavior lately I'm realy at my wits end. My mom told me last night that if his attitude dosn't start getting better we might have to find a new home for him. But i can't do that..even thinking about getting rid of him makes me cry. I know he would have to go to a home with no small children, no cats, and an owner that has dealt with alpha/agressive dogs before. I couldn't put him in a shelter because that would just be to horrible...Oh i can't even think about not having hiim around, he is such my little baby and I love him to much. But it seems like no matter how hard we try there is no progress with him.

Oh i'm sorry I didn't mean to write so much but I have allot on my mind. SO that's about all that's new with Zebra right now.

Glad to hear your taking Zebra to training, this will be a big step towards you two 'understanding' each other better and hopefully getting over you unfortunate problems.
It sounds like you love Zebra very much and are willing to do anything to help him, I think with the time and effort you are obviously willing to put in together with the new obedience classes Zebra will get over his aggression problems, maybe not completely, but enough that you wont have to think about finding him a new home.
I hope everything works out for the best. Thanks for the update 8)
