DogPaddle Posted July 2, 2003 Posted July 2, 2003 I'm sorry I have been away so much but its not my fault. Everytime I sit down at the computer Kavik weasles between me and the desk and looks forlornly up at me and Zaphod starts tearing about the living room doing zoomies and play bows. I guess they feel if I'm sitting so still for so long (3min) - I must have time to take them out and play. And how can I justify typing all about them when they really want to play. Does anyone elses dogs make this assumption? (I am actually at work right now as it is the only time I can type unharrassed.) Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted July 2, 2003 Posted July 2, 2003 Good to hear from ya DP! Yeah, I actually do know how you feel... Coal will quite often come up and nuzzel me when I'm on the computer, of course I end up going and playing with him too!   Quote
Angelboddy Posted July 2, 2003 Posted July 2, 2003 Nostalgia is the same way. She will jump in my lap and start licking my face, and put her head on my shoulder. Quote
Rosebud Posted July 2, 2003 Posted July 2, 2003 :D Sally sleeps right next to me. The picture of her & Rocket in my thread at the Picture topic was taken in the office. That's her bed she claimed it when she was 4 weeks old. Quote
mouseatthebusstop Posted July 2, 2003 Posted July 2, 2003 Paddy comes and sits by me or sleeps by my feet when I am on the computer. Hows Lord Pik? Quote
sheltielover Posted July 2, 2003 Posted July 2, 2003 If I stay on the computer for too long, Licky will come in, pass gas, then turn around and leave. Quote
iceyshiver21 Posted July 2, 2003 Posted July 2, 2003 Annie just lays under the desk, Odie sits with his head on my lap. :fadein: Quote

Rowie-the-Pooh Posted July 2, 2003 Posted July 2, 2003 If I sit on the computer too long, Rowie will come and nuzzle her muzzle between my legs and let out this loooooong sigh! It's like she's telling me "Get off already!" But mostly she will sleep under the desk or by my side like a good girl! Quote
Bentleythewonderdog Posted July 2, 2003 Posted July 2, 2003 Bentley barks at me or jumps in my lap, if I'm lucky he will take a nap. Quote
nadooshkinz Posted July 2, 2003 Posted July 2, 2003 My Auntie's Terrier slept on her laptop once, when he'd gotten up he'd left an INTERESTING souvenir there... Quote

Malamum Posted July 3, 2003 Posted July 3, 2003 Nice to hear from you Dogpaddle. Try to visit us more often. Indy normally just lays on the floor near me though if he starts to get bored he brings toys and presses them into my lap or if I am really ingoring him he will start to dig the carpet as he knows that will get my attention quick sticks - even if it is just to grump on him  Quote
bk_blue Posted July 3, 2003 Posted July 3, 2003 Welcome back DP! :D BK is good when I am at the computer- he will just lie down and sleep. Which is nice considering most of the time he is a brat. Quote
DogPaddle Posted July 4, 2003 Author Posted July 4, 2003 I see others share my problem. Thanks for the welcomeS back. Mouse - Pik is hanging his hat elsewhere but we are still in touch so if you'd like I'll let him know you were asking about him. Quote
