Bronxie Posted June 25, 2003 Posted June 25, 2003 After months of procrastinating and not wanting Elle to go through "pain" I finally got her spayed! I knew it was the right thing to do. The humane society does it for a good price BUT they wanted to keep her overnight. This is going to sound extremely selfish, but the thought of Elle not being with us for a night really broke my heart. So last Friday, my mom and I woke up at 4am to walk her to the ASPCA spay and neuter program. I had concerns but the vet was sooooo nice. They took such good care of her. Now my dog is healthy, the nagging in my brain is gone and she's healing nicely! :D Quote

We got up, got dressed, dressed Elle (tshirt) and just walked to the location. We were the first ones there (Imagine 2 women, a pup at 4:30 in the morning just standing in front of a park in NYC. We were getting weird stares lol) and since it's a first come first serve basis we got out of there quick. :bday: Quote

We left her there with vet. I almost cried. That was at 8:30am. Went home, and picked her up at 2pm. 8) And she got an updated rabies shot that's supposedly good for 3 years. Quote
