abker17 Posted June 23, 2003 Posted June 23, 2003 Cracker seems to have a cold. She's been sneezing a lot, and her nose is all runny. The problem is, whenever she sneezes, she hits the bottom of her mouth on the floor! Sometimes she's spray out blood from hitting the wooden floors so hard. :x  The poor thing!!!! What can I do? My mom says it's just a cold, but she doesn't seem to do it when she's inside. Can dogs even get colds? I feel so bad for her! Please help! :( :( :( Quote
xavierandrea Posted June 23, 2003 Posted June 23, 2003 My dogs get colds all the time. Especially the 2 youngest. We always take them to the vet and they perscribe meds for them. It doesn't hurt to ask the vet. Quote
Rosebud Posted June 23, 2003 Posted June 23, 2003 :-? I would suspect that since she doesn't do it outside that it's an allergy to something inside. Have you recently sprayed for anything with something new. bug-spray air-freshner  Quote
courtnek Posted June 24, 2003 Posted June 24, 2003 sounds more like allergies than a cold. If it's not too hot where you are, yu can run a hunidifier (cool mist, not warm) on the floor near where she sleeps and it will help clear up some of the congestion Quote

Please help! sounds like pollen / hey fever to dog can get it just the same as humans do :) if it was a cold it would be the same inside Quote
