Well, it all started when I was 7 years old and my aunt took me to this book fair, there was this dog book that was quite expensive, I BEGGED her, and she finally gave in, and I got the book!

Well, I spent the next few years of my life memorizing it, worshipping it! I knew all the doggie breeds in that book(it was small though) by the time I was 11!

Then one day my friends bro had this HUGE doggie book, it had like 1000 breeds! I asked to borrow it, and they GAVE it to me! It's in my room now! :D

And then came that beautiful day I joined Dogo! :D Need I say more? 8)

I am not good at guessing different breeds I only know the popular ones
I have 2 s/pei books "the book of the bitch" and A-Z of dog diseases and health problems. Any else I need to know comes off here. Someone once said between us we know everything. I agree with that :)

Books, tv, HERE, mostly. I have so many dog books that I'm not gonna name them all. Also, I've read all the dog books at our school library. My favorite book is So Your Dog's Not Lassie.

I love that book, too.

I've learned alot here, but most of my info comes from research on the net. I only rely on the medical sites and other trusted sites. I have also learned alot from my vet, he his really good at explaining things besides begin a jewel since he takes the time to explain things.

I don't know much about dogs yet... mostly what I know is from knowing my aunts dogs. I've been so lucky to always have dogs around, and even though I only see them once a year and they live across the atlantic ocean, I know them well. Then last summer I bought a book called The Ultimate Encyclepedia of Dog Breeds and Dog Care on a sale at Borders, and then I was given the book Dogs The Ultimate Care Guide for my birthday this year. I love that book! And of course all the library books about dogs have at one time or another been here... :D

Mostly from books, experience, and a theme paper I did on wolves in College......

One of my favorite books is "Why Does My Dog....." by John Fisher....

it helps answer a lot of questions on why dogs act the way they do.

I find out most of my info from the internet, though alot of the time you just learn by experience - an now thanks to forums like this you can learn from other people experience's as well.

For me it was always having dogs and reading several dog books over and over again when I was younger. (I wanted to be a vet and read everything I could get my grubby hands on when I was a kid.) I have got a lot of useful info from the net and of course from this site. :D

I have owned dogs all my life...no time frame given
I have also worked with dogs for about 20 years, Vet clinic, looking after a boarding facility, bath/blow dryer (I have never been interested in the actual grooming, I would end up crying if someone didnt like my groom job, the lady I work for is a National certified Master groomer, and she also competes through out North America; I listen to her alot and if I have questions I ask her or one of the vets or my breeder buddies. When you work around dogs daily you learn every thing is not text book style! :o I have been surprised many many times about dog behavior etc.
I have learned alot about natural remedies from the Whole dog Journal which I subscribe to, plus alot of my freinds are horse people they know alot! and alot of my friends are breeders, they also know alot (some times more than the Vets do) I also love the peteducation web site, you can't remember every thing off the top of your head...at least I can't.
I have also put CD & CDX on a few of my dogs.

I have the same "Why does my dog..." book !!! :D

But my ultimate favourite is still Suzanne Clothier's "Bones would rain from the sky". :)

I have learnt so much from dogo and other forums! I also get info from books and websites. From yakking with people, I've also gleaned bits of cool stuff. :)
