My parent's think the pup isn't as important as the drivers licence... Now I have been offerd a loan if I take the licence instead wich would be EXTREMELY good (an uncle of mine said he'd loan the money to me with just 100 euro's intrest of the entire price, wich is WAY less then any bank would offer).

I want my pup and I want my drivers license but I can't take both because I can't afford both the licence and the pup.

There are so many plus sides with the drivers licence, but... My puppy!! A tiny life!! Offcourse I can't be 100% sure if a baby girl will even be born...

I'm clueless here! Help! What should I do?????

What would you do if you were me? Wich one do you think is more important?

My advise would be to go with the drivers lic. - it dosn't continue to cost money after you get it. If your are making tough financial choices now you don't want any surprise vet costs shortly after an outlay of cash.
What I would actually decide to do myself? - I don't know, puppies are so cute.
Good luck either way. :D

Thanks... I just don't know what to do... I have been dreaming of a drivers licence for a long time, but... hmm... the puppy...

Well I have decided to cal to the driver school tomorrow and talk about the courses and the money and that sort of stuff... I guess I have to go ahead with the drivers licence... I don't see that I actually have much of a choise... I just wish that I some way could allso get the pup...

Crested - Glad you are going for the license! Just think of all the great ROAD TRIPS you and Ben could go on once you are a licensed driver!

behle: ...with a car sick dog... :o But mabye I can teach Ben to act nice in the car. :D That hasn't worked yet. I have a security belt for him and a box for him but nothing seems to be good enough for him... :o He screams on the back seat no matter what... He has stopped vomiting, but the first few rides were impossible. The first "long" drive was about 100km (one way) and we went there and back (2 x 100km) and he vomited FOUR times!! That wasn't such a nice ride... :(

Oh dear! Maybe he CAN be desensitized to his car sickness, by taking short little trips quite often..? If he can't get over it, then road trips are definately OUT!!! :silly:

Everybody I've asked have thought like you guys... I must admit that a drivers licence would be a good idea, but... I can't stop thinking of the pup...

Oh and Ben has got better. We went last summer on a 700km trip and he threw up twice. Then when we came back (again 700km) he threw up again twice. On small trips he doesn't throw up either.

I would go with the drivers liscence...I never got mine when i was young and now I feel to old to do it and sometimes not being able to drive is a real hassle

the same thing happened with me I only got a m/bike licence

For me personally being able to drive is a necessity, I would be absolutely lost if I couldn't drive myself places. I say go for the licence the puppy can come later.
