slim86 Posted June 9, 2003 Posted June 9, 2003 When I was a little kid, I loved Rin-Tin-Tin. I always wanted a GSD. I do have my 7 mo. old GSD puppy. I also really like other breeds as well. I would love to have an Anatolian Shepherd, Greater Swiss Mountain Dog or a Shilog Shepherd. Maybe someday. When I was growing up we had a Springer/Brittany mix and he was the greatest. We had to put him down a couple of years ago. He was 14 and had some heart problems. We also had a GSD/Border Collie mix. She was a great dog, as well. She got out of the dog run and chased the UPS truck and got ran over. We had to put her to sleep, too. She was about 8 years old. I had an Aussie a while ago and I left him at my Dads house. My dad parked his truck in the driveway and it leaked anti-freeze all over and my dog lapped it up. I had to put him down, too. That was really hard. He was only 2 1/2 years old. Slim Quote

You have had some pretty hard times with pets. I would be affraid to get another dog after all you have gone through. I am sorry for all your losses. I'm sure you probally keep a good watch on your pup. I don't let my dog stay outside if we go somewhere because my last lab I had jumped the fence and got ran over trying to look for me. It scares me that the lab i have now would try to do the same thing. Quote

She thought she was my momma and was the sweetest dog EVER! The dog I want ... well I am searching for a puppy now and I guess I'll take what little mut ever I can get at the humane society.. but I would love to have a Great Dane. :P Quote

Marble Posted July 3, 2003 Posted July 3, 2003 i'm with bk, my favorites are the two mutts i have right now, they are awesome, even though dresden really needs to grow up (like right now, i'm ready for this puppy crap to be over with......she's about 14 months) i'd love to have a english mastiff, a weimeraner, a whippet, a greyhound, a pointer, a brittany, a doberman, i like a bunch of terriers, etc etc etc. ELLIE- your dog is absolutely amazingly breathtaking awesome looking!!!!!!! do you have some more pictures?????? please :) Quote
