Rowie-the-Pooh Posted May 30, 2003 Posted May 30, 2003    The most embarrassing thing happened today! I was on Dogo, checking up on the posts and everything, when I needed to go to the loo . So I went, but I didn't lock the door because my mom was out, and my brother knows that it's a hazard to is health if he steps one foot into my bedroom :evilbat: (my bathroom is in my bedroom.) So I was sitting on the tiolet, when suddenly I heard a series of shouts, and then the pitter patter of nails on the marble. This can mean only one thing, Rowie managed to slip inside AGAIN! :o And naturally, the first thing Rowie does is look for me, and I think she might have smelt me or sensed me or something. Because she comes running at top speed, bashes into the door with her head(ow!),forcing it WIDE open, and comes up to me(still sitting on the toilet ) and gives me her PAW! (typical). So then I scream "Rowie!!" (remember she is STILL covered in ticks and I'm STILL sitting on the loo) and Rowie gets all excited and starts jumping around. When suddenly, Proveen(the guy who helps out with Rowie and is our gardner) comes into my room to get Rowie(he didn't know I was in the loo) and the bathroom's door was WIDE OPEN, and when he came in, he sees me sitting on the loo, screaming, and Rowie jumping around! So he said :"Oh my! I'm sorry!" and gets out of the room as fast as he can, but I can see him LAUGHING! And my face was soo RED! Then my mother comes in(she just came back from where ever she was) and takes Rowie's collar and drags her to Proveen who took her outside. Then I cleaned myself and stuff, and my mother came into my room and gives me this whole lecture about locking the bathroom door and bla..bla..bla! Moral of the story: ALWAYS lock your bathroom door, ESPECIALLY if you have a dog! And ALWAYS trust your dog to embarrass you! How embarrassing! Quote

Guest Anonymous Posted May 31, 2003 Posted May 31, 2003 I think everyone encounters a situation like that at least once in their life!!  How EMBARASSING!! But it's good you can laugh about it afterwards! Gosh, I can't count the number of times Hazel had done something to embarass me in front of people! LOL I always just try to laugh though, dogs will be dogs!  Quote
Rowie-the-Pooh Posted May 31, 2003 Author Posted May 31, 2003 Glad you all liked it! :D  (I still can't face my gardner... ) Quote
Angelboddy Posted May 31, 2003 Posted May 31, 2003 Though i did not laugh, i did smile real big :D I would never wish that for anyone to go though. My children have done that to me a couple of times. But my dog knows to just lay next to the door and wait for me. I am sooooo sorry you had to go though that. I'm sure your dog did not mean it, she was just soooo happy to get inside the house to see you. Quote
courtnek Posted May 31, 2003 Posted May 31, 2003 Both my dog and my cat will just let themselves in, if I dont latch the door....what IS IT about the bathroom that makes pets and kids HAVE TO BE THERE when you're in there??? My cat opened the door while my sons teenage friends were there - that's embarassing too....I got it closed right away but they still remind me of it.... Quote
IYPChrissie Posted May 31, 2003 Posted May 31, 2003   Poor you! That must have been so embarrassing, funny now but  for you. Like mentioned above, my doggie won't bother me while I am in there, but my toddler sure will  And I can't lock him out when we are here alone during the day because he is TAZ and gets into anything and everything in a seconds time :o Quote
courtnek Posted June 1, 2003 Posted June 1, 2003 Chrissie, I'm ignorant and sorry, but what is TAZ? Quote
bk_blue Posted June 1, 2003 Posted June 1, 2003 LOL Rowie you always make me laugh. Tomson (grandad's dog) seems to idolise me (I don't know why...?) so whenever I go over there he follows me everywhere, yes even to the toilet. He'll sit outside the door and whinge until I come out. He doesn't do this to anyone else, someone shed some light onto why I am the (un)lucky one?  Quote
Rowie-the-Pooh Posted June 1, 2003 Author Posted June 1, 2003 Glad you all like it! :D Ohhh, BK, your LUCKY! I mean, at least he doesn't come in and let the gardener see you sitting on the tiolet!  Courtnek: omd!! That is sooo embarrassing! I guess we all have an embarrassing thing happen to us once in a while.. Quote
