pawpaw Posted May 26, 2003 Posted May 26, 2003 hi all... sorry i have not been around, im still trying to deal with joe dying, its tough... but i have a question about mimi, for a few weeks now she just sits on our pillows and closes her eyes and licks them till they are soaking wet.. YICK..lol when it was nappy time she was on on the sofa with hubby under the blanket, she was doing the same thing and when i walked past, i seen that she had chewed the the edge of the blanket to bits! what is this new habbit about???? is it some type of comfot thing? or is something bothering her? im lost with this one. :o :o :o (and for those of you who dont know, shes not doing it b/c joe is gone, we have moved away from joe and parents last year, she doesnt even know joe is gone) Quote

SHE DID IT UPTO ABOUT 9 MONTHS :D mimi will be one year in june. and she just started this about a month ago, my mothers bichon does it too, but not to this extent.... she chewing the crotch out of underware still but not as much, she has many toys and outside playtime, i dont think its about pent up energy, i know this may sound funny, but she has this look on her face when shes licking the pillows ...almost like shes in love with it.... like its a baby. her eyes roll into her head and then she closes them and just keeps licking..... a few times i caught her on hubbys chest while he was in the recliner sleeping, she was licking his chest hair... i cracked up so bad.. i have a picture of that someplace on my puter, i should post it here...lmao she has "that" look in her eye. other then hating a wet pillow, i dont really care that she does it, i just thought maybe her tummy hurts or she needs something ??? She loves licking my husbands feet, and I have to be careful when I sleep...she loves going after my armpits. :roll: She can be playing like crazy and if she see's me pull my pants legs up, she will drop whatever toy she has and come running to lick.....crazy. :roll: Quote
