sheltielover Posted May 20, 2003 Posted May 20, 2003 I live really, really close to the U.S. Naval Academy and this friday is their graduation. Well, every year they get the Blue Angels to fly over the academy and today was their practice day and they were flying so close to my house. Well, the dogs were running in and out of the house trying to figure out what was going on!! The look on my girls faces was priceless!!! And everytime I would try to get a pic of them, they were already gone and outside. The noise the jets made when they flew over my house was sooo loud, it actually shook the house!! They are so awesome, though...... Quote

sheltielover Posted May 20, 2003 Author Posted May 20, 2003 They actually do pretty well with loud noises. They may lift their head when they hear a noise if they are asleep, but that's about it. The noises today were driving them crazy!!! And today was just the Blue ANgels practice....tommorow is the actual show!!! So we get to go through it all again. :roll: Quote

Rosebud Posted May 20, 2003 Posted May 20, 2003 :D Good they will be good and practiced for the show by my house this week-end. I heard the Angels are doing the Millington Air Show this year. I can sit in my drive-way and watch them. They swoop down over my area and the year before last I could have read the plane numbers if they had been flying slow enough. :angel: Quote

I was on my back deck and got to actually video tape alot of it. When they flew over the house, they were so low you could read the bottom of the jet. It was totally awesome. Tomorrow is supposed to be the actual show, but they are calling for rain. :( Quote
