I've had to wait all week long for him to have his surgery and today he's ready to come home! He's an adorable rott/lab mix puppy. 2 months old and incredibly sweet! I can't wait to go get him. The puppy I adopted a few days ago died in the middle of the night. he laid his head on a metal ring that's there to hold food and water still be groggy from surgery he suffocated. I'm so upset. Fortunetly my son didn't know we had already adopted a puppy. We were on our way to get him when we found out. My son picked out another puppy but I'm still very upset. At least in the future they'll take those rings out of the cages. Quote

I hadn't grown too attached to him. But it still hurts. He was such a cute puppy. He would have made a wonderful addition to our family. But the other puppy my son picked out is fitting in to family life well. Quote

Only 2 months old...goodness. :cry: Well hopefully they can stop this from happening again. I must know- what breed of pup did you end up bringing home...and how old? did you pick out a name? Puppies are always such a joy, ahhh. I miss that stage...I really do. and the puppy breath....mmmmm!!! :D Quote

Still looking for a name for the little guy. Need to find one before he starts to think his name is puppy!! :D Quote
