Guest Anonymous Posted May 15, 2003 Posted May 15, 2003 :o I'm Super worried! Okay, my grumpa's in the hospital right now  it's pretty serious, but only my mom can get down there. (Calgary) Which means, I needed to find Coal a puppy sitter until I get off school :o That's 7 hours he can't be at home alone. My b/f was like "just put him in the crate!" But then I had to try to explain to him (as nicely as I could  ) that 7 hours is WAY too long for a dog, never mind a 2 month old puppy!! :o So I called up my best friend, and asked if she would be busy during then and she said she had to go to work from 10 until 5 :-? (she doesn't go to school) So that created a bit of a problem. But she asked why and I told her, and she said she could bring Coal to the office! (it's her Dad's office) :D So, I have to pack up his dishes, food, toys etc. And go over the rules with her. I'm really worried though. I know Kirsty, she's not that responsible :-? I mean she's had puppies before, and a LOT of kittens, but I know I'll still be worrying all day. I get to see him at lunch of course, cuz the office is just down the road from the school, and I'll be staying after school to be with him until my dad can pick us up. This will probably happen tomorrow too. I know I'll have to tell her to keep him on the leash at all times, and never let him out of her sight, and walk him lots etc. Just I remember one time she was holding on to my chihuahua's lead, and Daphne went running away after cars because she though she couldn't pull that hard and out of her grasp  And odds are, she'll think the same about a little puppy. But after that day, I'm hoping she'll understand now! I just hope he doesn't pee on Rick's floor!! :o  But I'm sure things will go okay. Wish us luck though!! :-? I'll tell you how things went when I get back today. Quote

Guest Anonymous Posted May 16, 2003 Posted May 16, 2003 Thanks guys, I sure hope my Gumpa will be okay. Coal did pretty good today! All went well ('cept a couple messes at Rick's office :-? ) We got there at 12, so Kirsty only got him for 2 hours, and she was SOOO happy to see me after school!! 2moro she gets him for 7 (well, six, since I'll get him at lunch) hours!!! EVERYONE loved him!!! haha, I took him in the school during lunch and after school, and everyone ('cept mean Mr. Ogi  ) just swarmed around! At lunch our plan was to quickly go in the school, drop off my bag, then go up town, and everyone just swarmed around asking all kinds of questions, awing, and petting him  Oh Coal just soaked it all up too of course  Finally the crowd died down, and we were headed for the door when we heard from down the hall "AWWWWWE" so Kirsty goes "run!" and we just bolted out of the school!! Then after school we went to Kirsty's house, and let him run around and play with her kitten! That kitten is SOOOO small! I was so afraid Coal'd crush her or something! :o He kept just smackin her with his paws!! But she'd always go back for more, and run around, and tease him, so they were having fun. Coal's sleepin now, he's had quite the day! Oh, and another thing, I mean not that it REALLY matters, since I have a b/f, I'm just sayin... when Kirsty had him, all the hot tree planters would swarm around her, but when I had him, it was all the GIRLS!! :o Like, WHAT'S UP WITH THAT?!! Quote
