Shannon_C Posted May 14, 2003 Posted May 14, 2003 Oh no, poor Boomer :( Hope he gets better soon. We don't have that problem with them here, only hedghogs...not that we see many! Awwww poor :lilangel: though, I expect those thorny creatures can be nasty if any dog or animal gets too close. Boomer only wanted to say Hello! I suspect he is overwhelmed with all these kisses and hugs, licks :D Here are some from me and my gang. :bigok: :bigok: :bigok: :bigok: :bluepaw: Quote
courtnek Posted May 14, 2003 Posted May 14, 2003 He'll probably be fine, fortunately they tend to forget pain pretty quickly. Poor thing!! Hope he learned something from it! My malamute mix got skunked TWICE!! By the same skunk!!! You'd think he woulda learned from the first encounter....but it didnt get his eyes so there was no pain involved. Maybe that's why - but you'd think the discomfort of the tomato juice baths would have taught him something... LOL Hope you feel better Boomer!! :D Quote
JackieMaya Posted May 14, 2003 Posted May 14, 2003 Poor Boomer! I bet that REALLY hurt! Hopefully he learned his lesson! Give him a hug for me too! (mean old porcupine! ) Quote

LisaLQ Posted May 15, 2003 Posted May 15, 2003 Poor love, glad he's getting better - thank god we dont have porcupines in the UK, although our Buffy (now deceased) used to love hedgehogs  Quote
Shannon_C Posted May 16, 2003 Posted May 16, 2003 Glad to hear Boomer is getting better :D In this movie the dog to the right gets a visit from a Porcupine. ITS A LOVELY FILM :) Quote
Malamum Posted May 16, 2003 Posted May 16, 2003 I hope Boomer is feeling much better. Shannon I remember watching that movie and I have never cried so hard in all my life (yes I tend to have a habit of crying at Disney movies  ) I got soooo upset at the end when I thought the Golden Retreiver didn't make it with the others and then there he was and I just blubbered even more  Quote
Shannon_C Posted May 16, 2003 Posted May 16, 2003 Hi Malamum :) Same here hun....anything thats sad, whether it is on the tv... in the paper or on the internet I get so emotional! Supposedly its good to cry but I have to hold it back if Im in company LOL. I guess some people are more sensitive than others  Lovely film*Homeward Bound*....the first time I saw it I cried too. I didn't think the Golden Retriever was going to make it either. When I saw he wasn't there with them I kept saying where is he...where is the Retriever, why isn't he there with them...oh no he's gone, then he appeared :happy1: Quote
Holz_Boomer Posted May 16, 2003 Author Posted May 16, 2003  Yes, Homeward Bound is great! Rowie--Is That What Rowie Really Said? lol Quote
